Nairobi City Excursions, David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, 3hrs Giraffe Centre and Karen Blixen, Mamba Village, Carnivore Restaurant, Bomas Of Kenya From 2.30 p.m, 4hrs Nairobi National Park, excursions from nairobi, 1 Day Mount Longonot Hike,
Hilton Hotel, Nairobi which is one of the landmark buildings in the city.

These are short trips which are popular with clients on transit or business schedule. They last between 1hr to 1 Day.

GHT 001 - NAIROBI CITY TOUR 2HRS
This tour will take you to the various Landmark Buildings, Uhuru Park (Freedom Park), City Center and Shopping areas, National Museum, Snake Park and the Railway Museum.


GHT 002 - DAVID SHEDLRICK WILDLIFE TRUST 2HRS
This is an orphanage for Elephant and Rhinos Calves from all over Kenya. It was founded and is still managed by Daphne Sheldrick, the widow of the best known Game Warden, David Sheldrick. The young calves which are orphaned by poaching from various Parks are brought here and nursed until they are believed to be out of danger then released back to various parks to rejoin their colleagues. The visit is done during the feeding hours which fall between 11:00am to Noon every other day. There is no park fee but only your humble contributions to the trust.

Nairobi Giraffe Center is only 15kms from the City and was founded in 1978 to save the endangered Rothschild Giraffe. This is the only place where you can go as near as feeding the Giraffe from your palm. On the adjacent is Karen Blixen Museum, the farm house where the Author of the book “Out of Africa” lived. It is also the same place where the famous movie “Out of Africa” was shot.


GHT 004 - MAMBA VILLAGE 3HRS
This is the newest of all the excursions in Nairobi. The major attraction here are the Crocodiles and Ostrich farms. The clients will enjoy to see the African Crocodlie at a close range. There's also an artificial river with fish which is really attractive. You can enjoy a boat or Horse ride before you settle for a buffet lunch or dinner.

This is the most recent excursion in Nairobi and the only place where you can view a Crocodile at a close range

GHT 005 - CARNIVORE RESTAURANT LUNCH / DINNER.
Guaranteed daily at lunch and dinner, Nairobi has many restaurants offering varieties of cuisine. We recommend a dinner or lunch at the unique Carnivore Restaurant which is famous for the succulent barbeque dishes of Game Meat as an excellent compliment after holiday in Kenya; especially as an excellent welcome or farewell dinner. The restaurant also offers Vegetarian menu. Don’t forget the Tamarind Restaurant which is a sister to Carnivore and serves Sea Food. Do not wait to go to the Coast to enjoy a plate of Lobster Fish or a dish of Crab you can get the same in Nairobi in the City Center.

GHT 006 - BOMAS OF KENYA STARTS FROM 02:30 DAILY.
A Boma means a village, thus Bomas of Kenya literally means villages of Kenya. Kenya is a tribal society with over 42 tribes. The Government thought it wise to set up a place with traditional set up homesteads representing the different tribal regions. This homestead depicts different cultures with Guides to tell the history. Next to it, visit to the auditorium where you will be entertained by different tribal cultural troops until 06:00pm.

GHT 007 - NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK 4HRS
Nairobi is the only City in the whole World that boasts of a National Park next to its door step. Nairobi National Park is 15kms away from the City Centre and despite this proximity, there are many species of mammals including 4 of the Big Five. The best time to visit the park is early in the morning or late afternoon everyday.

Lake Nakuru is the home to the millions of Flamingos and other species of birdlife

GHT 008 - LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK 1 DAY
The park is an Ornithological Paradise. This shallow alkaline Lake feeds millions of greater and lesser Flamingos. It is also the sanctuary for black and white Rhinos and the rare Rothschild Giraffe. There are also other species of animals like Leopards, Zebras, Antelopes, Gazelles and the most notorious Baboons e.t.c which can be seen in this Rift Valley Lake. Have lunch at either Lake Nakuru Lodge or Sarova Lion Hill. Depart for Nairobi with an enroute game drive arriving in the evening.

Mount Longonot
Standing over the shores of Lake Naivasha, at 2886 meters this massive dormant volcano dominates the landscape for miles around.
The brooding hulk of the Mountain is lined with spectacular fissures and lava canyons. As you climb these slopes, you pass through herds of grazing game as spectacular views of the Rift Valley and Naivasha unfold below.
Its vast crater is an awesome sight, the jagged edge surrounding a broad expanse of vegetation. Geothermal steam trickles upwards from the walls, while buffalo and other game make their way across the crater floor.
A climb up Mount Longonot is an ideal day trip from either Nairobi or Naivasha.

Depart in the morning with your picnic lunch and mountain guide for a trek at the Longonot returning in the evening in Nairobi or Naivasha to end your trip.
