- Tsavo Wilderness Tour (2 Nights )
Day 1 Mombasa-Tsavo West
Depart Mombasa this morning and drive to Tsavo National Park
– Kenya’s largest National Park. Tsavo is divided
into two halves, known as East and West. Your drive takes
you into Tsavo West, once home to more than 50,000 elephants.
Drive past Mzima Springs. Fed by the waters draining from
Mt. Kilimanjaro, the springs form an oasis for a wide variety
of wildlife. Overnight: Severin Camp

2 Tsavo West- Taita Hills
After an early breakfast and game drive, continue to Taita
Hills Private Reserve. Once a private sisal plantation, Taita
Hills is almost 170 sq. kms. Of lush forest, cascading waterfalls
and abundant game. Your afternoon game drive might reveal
buffalo, waterbuck, elephant and more. Tonight, be sure to
spend time at the waterside blind at your lodge- the animals
are so close you can count their whiskers! Overnight: Salt

3 Taita Hills Mombasa
Depart for Mombasa this morning, arriving around midday.

1 Arrive Mombasa
Arrive in Mombasa where you will be met and transferred to
your choice of beach hotel. Overnight: Indian Ocean Beach

2 Mombasa
A full day at leisure to enjoy the hotel’s water-based
optional activities or simply relax poolside. Why not take
an optional Dhow Cruise or enjoy the Sun et Lumiere Show this

3 Mombasa
The day begins with a tour of Mombasa including a visit to
Fort Jesus and the Akamba Wood Carvers. After lunch at a local
Chinese restaurant, travel to Haller Park (formerly know as
the Bamburi Nature Trail). The area was reclaimed from a coal
quarry and turned into a nature trail. Along with a chance
to see a working fish farm, hippos, buffalo, antelope and
birdlife may also be seen. Overnight: Indian Ocean Beach Club
or Nyali Beach Club

4 Mombasa-Shimba Hills (BD)
Today drive to Shimba Hills National Park, a 320 Square kilometer
forest, first made a reserve in 1903. among the species found
here are the handsome and rare roan antelope and sable antelope.
Tonight enjoy nocturnal game viewing at your lodge’s
floodlit waterhole. Overnight: Shimba Hills Forest Lodge
Day
5 Shimba Hills-Mombasa
Return by road to Mombasa today, where the remainder of the
day is at leisure.
Overnight: Indian Ocean Beach Club or Nyali Beach Club

6 Mombasa
A final day to enjoy the beach or perhaps take an optional
excursion in Mombasa.
Overnight: Indian Ocean Beach Club or Nyali Beach Club

7 Mombasa
You will be transferred to the airport for departing flight
today.
